EXPO Chicago teams up with city's major cultural institutions to announce, EXPO Art Week: Sep16-22, 2013.

Expo Chicago, The International Exposition of Contemporary and Modern Art,
teams up with
Choose Chicago, and
 Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events [DCASE]
for the Expo Art Week!
Sep 16-22, 2013.
 

 
 
After it's extraordinary success in the first year, EXPO Chicago integrates with all major cultural institutions in the city to have a weeklong celebration of  arts and cultures, which will include museum exhibitions, gallery openings, installations, public art projects, music, theater and dance performances and special dining experiences, for residents and tourists. EXPO Chicago will be "centerpiece" of this weeklong celebrations.

- “Impressionism, Fashion, and Modernity” and “Zarina: Paper Like Skin” at the Art Institute of Chicago 
- Theaster Gates: 13thBallad” and Paul Sietsema at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.
- Other art and museum partners to date, offering special viewings and ticketing options include: ACRE Residency, Chicago Architectural Foundation, Chicago Artists’ Coalition, Hyde Park Art Center, The Renaissance Society at the University of Chicagothe School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Smart Museum of Art at the University of Chicago and threewalls.
